Dear Visitor,

All of us at Challenge Ranch, young and old, human and equine, wish you a Merry Christmas
and a safe and Happy new Year.

Challenge Ranch has been open six days a week all through 2009.  Our twenty-eight wonderful
horses have patiently worked in Equine Assisted Learning sessions; they have gained springs
as the show jumped, stood patiently and "talked" to sad apprehensive new children, ridden
miles and miles of dessert trails with laughing children at summer camp; played water games
in the hot summer sun; been dressed up and painted for Halloween, shampooed and braided
for horse shows; galloped around poles and barrels with excited young riders; been calm
enough to carry new nervous riders around our Arena and become fit enough to compete in
Endurance Rides.

With your help we can continue to provide these Horsemanship opportunities to disadvantaged
and under privileged children.

Can you sponsor a horse for a week, month, or year?

In these economic times our horses continue to eat well, receive necessary veterinary care,
wear well maintained saddlery and have new shoes every 6-8 weeks.

No one who helps at Challenge Ranch (Board of Directors, feeding and caring for the horses,
instructing and maintenance of property) is paid for their services.  100% of your donation goes
to the care and feeding of the horses and essentials services and equipment.

Challenge Ranch is making a tremendous difference in some young San Diego lives.

Challenge Ranch thanks you for your support.  Please come to visit and the joy and genuine
help you are bringing to the life of a child.

Yours sincerely,

Jane Tomczak
